Jegster Driveshaft Loop

Most people don't think they need a driveshaft loop.  Yet it's a required saftey item to be legal at most tracks, and it's also a good investment.  Mine has done its job once already.  Replacing a broken driveshaft is one thing, but replacing everything else it takes out as it whips aroung under the car can get expensive.

Prices for a safety loop vary greatly.  And each one has its advantages and disadvantages.  I went with one from Jeg's.

The Jegster Welded Driveshaft Loop is a bolt-in type loop.  It comes with all the necessary hardware to install it.  But, it does require drilling 4 holes in the floor of the car.  I had no problem doing that, so I didn't think twice about it.  And for $35, it's a pretty damn good deal.

It clears the factory torque arm very nicely, and tucks far enough up into the tunnel to clear most exhaust systems.  I did modify it slightly during the install.  As it ships, there are four mounting holes on each end of the loop.  I cut off the outside 2 on each side.  I though it fit better without them.  Not really a required mod to make it fit.
